Thermal Fuses
A thermal cutoff is an electrical safety device that interrupts electric current when heated to a specific temperature. These devices are for one-time use and may not be reset post-activation. Thermal fuses may be designed axially or radially and are suited for through hole mounting. Depending on the use fuses are available with different shut-down temperatures. The range covers fuses with cutoffs from 72 degrees celsius to cutoffs of 240 degrees celsius. Tolerance is ± 10 prozent, maximum operating voltage is 250 volts. Maximum operating current depends on type and is either two or ten ampere.
