From the market leader in design, development and production of standard and custom electromagnetic components and solenoid products, the KT series of reed relays is now available for highly isolated applications.

The KT series is ideal for environmentally friendly applications, such as photovoltaic technology or hybrid vehicles. It is particularly useful when measuring insulation resistance across multiple components in a solar installation before connecting to the grid to prevent injury and subsequent leakage currents.

The relays provide an insulation resistance of greater than or equal to 10¹⁰ Ω and an insulation voltage between coil and contact of greater than 7 kV DC. Measuring only 30 x 8.6 x 10.6 mm (L x W x H), these high insulation properties are offered in an extremely small component. The series is available with three coil voltages (5 V, 12 V and 24 V), and all three versions are available in both SMT and THT versions.

The components are manufactured in a fully molded package and are suitable for switching voltages
up to 1000 V.
