  1. 28.10.2024 - An optimal EMC solution for flexible printed circuit boards and flex cables: The FFPC and GSSC series from Kitagawa

    As a manufacturer and supplier of EMC products, Kitagawa offers its customers a wide range of solutions in the areas of interference suppression, anti-vibration, shock absorption/impact attenuation and thermal management. High quality standards are ensured by qualified employees and constant checks during production.

    With the FFPC and GSSC series, Kitagawa offers thin ferrite tapes and soft ferrites respectively, which represent an optimum EMC solution for flexible PCBs and flex cables. The flexible tapes enable simple mounting on both sides of an FPC or FFC for interference suppression without additional fixing.

    Due to their low weight and thin design, the ferrite tapes are particularly suitable for use in mobile devices. Thanks to the flexibility of the FFPC, the flexibility of FPC cables remains unaffected. The self-adhesive PET carrier film prevents individual fragments of the ferrite from coming loose and getting into the surrounding electronics. Compared to other soft magnetic ferrites, a higher insertion loss and excellent ability to filter out interference in the low frequency range (30M Hz ~ 300 MHz) can be observed.

    From the specialist for EMC products and electromechanical components you will now find
    the series GTFC, GTFCK and GTFCR in our online shop.

    The ferrite design of the GTFCx series is optimized for easy and quick mounting on the cable.
    The mechanism enables uncomplicated attachment even to already prefabricated cables.

    In the process, some types of the series prevent slipping on the cable due to a special housing design.
    The sophisticated cable routing system effectively prevents cables from becoming trapped.

    The GTFCK series is equipped with an additional device for easy fastening to frames or housings by means
    of a screw. The GTFCR series offers a removable or reusable fastening device with expansion anchor.

  3. 05.09.2022 - By far the best: KGS Kitagawa spacers and cable holders

    Also in electronics and especially in the case of circuit boards and cable installation in housings or devices, the right distance is often important. KGS Kitagawa's CKN, EDS, KGTS and KGLS product series offer various options for keeping components at a distance or fixing them securely.

    Whether as press-fit or adhesive versions, the spacers and cable holders can be attached directly to the housing or PCB in a space-saving and secure manner. Versions with a small projection are also available, which can also be used in cramped applications. The large selection of different dimensions and lengths also provides sufficient space for boards with larger components and cables with larger diameters.

    The material used is nylon 66, which, in conjunction with flammability class UL 94 V-0 or UL 94 V-2, enables safe use even at higher temperatures.
