The company shares in the specific know-how of LUMBERG Group, which established the M12 circular connector as a global standard in the early 80s. Based on this, Lutronic develops and distributes as a sister company of Lumberg Group, quality M8 and M12 circular connectors for signal, data and power applications intended for customized uses.

The strength of Lutronic, next to standardized industrial connectors, lies in the offer and development of customized special solutions for device manufacturers with discerning requirements as to quality and pricing. Lutronic companies based throughout Europe, North America, China and Singapore allow the company to naturally serve even an internationally-operating clientele.

A variety of actuator/sensor wires, one-sided or two-sided with overmolded A-coded connectors, with M8/M12 threaded joint according to IEC 61076-2-104/101, IP67 or as an M8 with a snap joint, IP65 are available, as are M8/M12 sockets, optionally even with LED. This is rounded off by passive M8/M12 actuator/sensor distribution boxes with LED; 4, 8, or even 10-port for M8 (all in IP67) with a central cable or M12 connection. Both the M12 4-port and M12 8-port versions accommodate single or double assignment per output. M8 and M12 panel mount connectors are also available for front-side mounting with strands, or backwall mounting for printed circuit boards.

Following the demand in automation, Lutronic’s product range even features high-performance LED lights for mechanical engineering with a solid aluminum casing and frosted tempered glass, IP67, with M8 connectors. The available performance levels of these LED lights made in Germany range between 4 W for 160 mm in length up to 24 W in 860 mm length.

    Lutronic, founded internationally in 2016, specializes in actuator/sensor cabling solutions for automation. The company's connectivity solutions also include the associated passive distribution boxes.

    Currently, we have extensively expanded the range of products from Lutronic.

    In our online store you can now get Quicklock connectors in size 28 for currents up to 50 A, 7/8" circular connectors in IP 67, various new M8/M12 connectors as well as sensor cables in different numbers of poles, lengths and materials.

  2. 22.04.2022 - On site use: The field-attachable M12 connectors by Lutronic

    Since its foundation in 2016, Lutronic has been a sister company of the Lumberg Group, which operates worldwide with 1,250 employees. In combination with the specific know-how of the Lumberg Group, which established M12 circular connectors as a worldwide standard at the beginning of the 1980s, Lutronic positions itself as a specialist in connectivity for individual cabling solutions in automation.

    The range now also includes M12 connectors that can be assembled in the field.
    Housing designs and coding as well as the various pole configurations comply with internationally binding standards and thus guarantee manufacturer-independent connector compatibility. The connectors are available in width across flats SW15 and SW19.

  3. 03.05.2021 - New to our range: Quicklock power circular connectors from Lutronic

    With Quicklock, connector specialist Lutronic from Schalksmühle offers a powerful and innovative connection solution for voltage and signal transmission.
     
    Cable connectors and couplings that can be assembled, as well as flush-type connectors and couplings - the latter with captive silicone cap - are available in three sizes from 12 to 16 and up to 20 mm diameter in the mating face.
    The cable connection takes into account the larger cable diameters of up to 4.0 mm² often required today and is made by soldering.
     
    In all sizes, the contact carrier, handle body and cap nut are made of robust PBT (V0 according to UL94), while the brass contact pins are always offered gold-plated. The Quicklock fastener is made of
    a chrome-plated zinc alloy. All sizes in protection class IP67 are designed for the temperature range from -40 to +80 °C, which enables use in very demanding environments.
     
    The requirements for higher currents are met in particular by size 20. Here, currents of up to 20 A at a rated voltage of 500 V and surge voltage of up to 2,500 V AC are possible in a confined space.
    Even the smallest size 12 offers 2- to 6-pole versions with 5 A rated current, 7- and 8-pole with 3 A.
