DC / DC Converter

DC-DC converters are direct current converter that convert a direct input voltage into a pre-defined output direct current of lower or greater voltage. As a rule, the devices "chop up" the input voltage, transform it to the required value and then rectify it. Our shop carries an entire array of DC/DC converters by MEAN WELL, that feature on or two outputs and generate short-circuit protected output voltages between 3.3 and 24 volts. Maximum input voltage depends on the type of converter and may be 18, 36 or 72 volts. DC/DC converters are available in exposed or closed designs for PCB mounting or chassis assembly. Currents and output voltage can be chosen freely.
